Baton Rouge Girls Golf Lessons

A girls-only beginner academy planned with the city's top public-access facilities. Clubs flexible — buy, bring, or borrow.

Real lessons. Real progression.

One-off clinics teach kids to swing a club. A four-week academy teaches them to be a golfer. Our Baton Rouge girls golf lessons are designed as a structured progression — foundations, short game, full swing, on-course play — so by graduation week every girl has played real shots on a real course.

Built around Baton Rouge' best public golf

Bayou Oaks at City Park and Joseph Bartholomew Golf Course are the anchor facilities for Baton Rouge cohorts. Both offer accessible layouts, strong public access, and a rich place in Baton Rouge golf history.

Baton Rouge girls golf lessons FAQ

Where will lessons be held?
Baton Rouge cohorts are planned in partnership with public-access facilities including Bayou Oaks at City Park and Joseph Bartholomew Golf Course.
Can siblings register together?
Yes. Siblings can register into their respective age tracks (6–8, 9–12, 13+) on the same evening so families only make one trip.
What programs do you offer?
Teach Girls Golf Academy runs four program tracks: Beginner Clinics, Academy Series (multi-week seasonal training), Advanced Development (competitive prep), and Tournaments & Events.
What ages are programs for?
Girls ages 6–17, organized into two age tracks per location (typically 5–8 and 9–13) so girls train alongside peers at a similar stage.
Where are programs held?
We run programs in four Louisiana metros: Baton Rouge (City Park Driving Range), New Orleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport. New locations are added seasonally based on demand.
Are absolute beginners welcome?
Yes. Our Beginner Clinics and Academy Series are built for first-time golfers — every session assumes zero prior experience.
Do participants need their own clubs?
No — equipment is available on-site for Beginner Clinics. Academy Series and Advanced Development enrollment includes options for clubs-included tuition.
How do I enroll?
Create a parent account, add your daughter's profile, choose your city, pick the program that fits her stage, and complete secure checkout. You'll get a confirmation email with everything you need for week one.
Is there a competition pathway?
Yes. Advanced Development players and Academy Series graduates can move into our Tournaments & Events track, which culminates in a regional girls golf event each year.
How can businesses sponsor a program?
Three sponsorship tiers are open: Title Sponsor (Academy Season), Event Sponsor (Tournament Series), and Local Business Sponsor (Clinic Supporter). Visit the Sponsors page to review benefits, or email info@teachgirlsgolf.org to discuss a custom partnership.
